Wizard Tower (2016)

You're a mighty wizard who returns to his castle, but it's overrun by snails! Take your castle back!

The game was made using C++, SDL2, OpenGL and OpenAL. The levels were made using Tiled.

The game was a little one-month side project, but enjoyable to develop. Almost all the planned features are in the game. There are 7 small levels, one enemy type, couple special tiles (such as bouncy and slippery tiles) and a boss with simple mechanics.

Car-O-Boros (2012)

Car-O-Boros is a time-attack racing game made during Global Game Jam 2012. The goal is to drive each lap faster than the previous one. If the lap time doesn't improve, the game is over. How long can you beat yourself?

GGJ12 had the usual timelimit of 48 hours and the topic was Ouroboros. Some might wonder how is the idea releated to the competion topic. Well.. we had decided to make a car game no matter what the topic was. The original idea was to make the car take more damage the faster it goes, but this way was easier better.

Roger's Treasure (2010-unreleased)

Roger's Treasure is an bejeweled-style pirate puzzle game for Android Mobile Phones.

The graphics and game design are my responsibilities in the project. The graphics were done using Gimp 2.6. This title is currently on hold.

Frustration Maximus (2009)

Roll the balls to the exit by rotating the game world itself! This physics based game can be tricky, rewarding and frustrating!

Maximum Frustration is my and my friend's entry (and winner) to GetOnline 2009 game dev combo. The time limit in the combo was 48 hours so the game came out slightly unpolished, but still won the competition.

The game uses OGRE for rendering and PhysX for the physics based gameplay. However my responsibility on this project were the 3D/2D graphics that were done with 3d Studio Max and Gimp.

Northern War (2008)

Great Northern War is raging! Finland has been overrun by the Russian forces. Only one stronghold lasts, the Kajaani Castle.

The player is one of the few defenders still alive. To maintain the hold of the castle you have been ordered to go sabotage the enemy camp.

Northern War had the development time of two months and there were several people working on it using Horde3D game engine. My contribution to this project includes models, textures and the level design.

Space Invaders (2008)

The aliens are attacking! You must prevent them from conquering the planet before the reinforcements arrive. Do not let them touch the planet's surface!

As you probably figured this game has taken lots of inspiration from the classic arcade game - Space Invaders (1978).

The game was done with C++ and SDL for one of the courses at Kajaani University of Applied Sciences. It is the first of my games that I actually call a game so the code came out quite messy and therefore it's not distributed here.

Reindeer Rattle (2008)

Reindeer Rattle is a worm game where you control the Santa Claus and his reindeers. Collect the presents and do not get tangled.

This flash game was made in few days so it's not a perfect game, but it should last atleast one playtime. I made the graphics with MS Paint. Except the background, which is from another source.
